Multifamily Development Partner | Texas Market Lead

Must reside in Texas | Fully Remote

On behalf of our client, a Southeast-based developer of investment-grade multifamily communities, we are seeking a Development Partner to lead all development efforts across Texas with a focus on the DFW and Austin. This individual will take ownership of the full development life cycle for new projects and work closely with an established local team (DM/CM) to support our client’s continued expansion in the region.

Our Client:

• Is a Top 25 NMHC developer.
• Currently has ~$1B under construction; including garden/wrap/high-rise.
• Is a privately held developer of market rate multifamily.
• Has developed ~100+ apartment communities on the East Coast & Southwest.
• Their in-house asset management, pre design, and marketing depts help drive success.
• Is well financed with long standing capital relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

• As a Partner, you will lead & direct our client's continued expansion in your market.
• Site selection, project feasibility and market analysis for all projects.
• Our client's capital markets team sources debt & equity.

Qualifications:

• BS/MBA and 10+ years of multifamily development experience.
• Proven success sourcing a few deals through entire life-cycle in Texas.
• Must reside in Texas, ideally DFW area.
• Entrepreneurial, driven, decisive and accountable.
