Development Team Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Development Team Manager to lead and coordinate a team of developers.

You will be responsible for managing development priorities, ensuring quality standards are maintained and making sure projects are delivered efficiently and on time. You will work closely with leadership to prioritize development work and support the team in resolving challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 developers
• Plan and prioritize development tasks and projects
• Coordinate development activities and ensure timely delivery
• Oversee quality control across development work
• Review project progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Work closely with leadership to establish development priorities
• Identify blockers and coordinate solutions
• Support developers with guidance and escalation when required
• Maintain clear communication between developers and leadership
• Monitor team performance and project delivery
• Improve development processes and workflows
• Ensure development work aligns with business and product requirements
• Be available for occasional after-hours coordination when required

Requirements

• Previous experience managing software development teams
• Strong understanding of software development processes and workflows
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to identify and resolve development blockers
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable coordinating with developers across different schedules and time zones
