Development Technical Leader (R&D Design role)

About the role

You will be responsible for the design and development of existing mechanical and/or electronic product components and creation and validation of new components. You will analyse technical solutions with suppliers, factory, and other functions, working autonomously following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement, and solving a range of straightforward to complex problems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver project timing, investments, and cost on time and on budget
• Understand, change, and create component system design specifications, requirements, and guidelines
• Identify and support standardization by ensuring that new developments fit into the platform and subsystem structure
• Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations, leading interaction with cross functional teams, external bodies, and universities, and acting as a technical reference for one region or into a wider team internationally
• Responsible for the design and development of existing and new product components
• Create and validate new components
• Drive the design of product and module architectures and related technologies in line with the generation plan
• Validate and release of mechanical structural components within time frame, cost target, quality level, and process constraints
• Understand technical test results to take decisions on design development and final approval for module development
• Master robust design tools using CAD, CAE, FMEA, DFMA, and tolerances analysis to develop 2D, 3D CADs, and prototypes

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• 7+ years' experience in new product development with responsible parts and components developments
• Experience of Project Management Methodologies (PMP is a Plus)
• Good command of English communications (both written and spoken)
• General knowledge for HA Products
• Washing Machine HA Module and Technology experience
• Technical Problem Analysis and Solving skills
• People and Cross Team working capabilities
• Project Management experience
• Presentation skills
