Device Technician

We are seeking a PC Deployment Technician to support a large-scale Epic migration and hardware deployment initiative across multiple hospital locations and approximately 120 outpatient facilities.

This position will initially focus on conducting site assessments, inventorying devices, and preparing locations for deployment. The team will then transition into deploying and supporting new hardware throughout the hospitals and outpatient facilities, followed by Epic Go-Live support in 2027 through early 2028.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments to identify, inventory, and document existing technology and devices.
• Deploy, install, configure, and replace hardware as part of the Epic migration.
• Document device information, deployment status, and other project-related details in an organized manner.
• Perform hardware break/fix troubleshooting and resolution for:
  • Desktops and laptops
  • Printers
  • Mobile devices
  • Medical equipment and peripheral devices
• Install, configure, and map printers and appropriate drivers to new end-user devices.
• Troubleshoot Windows-based hardware, software, peripheral, and connectivity issues during deployments.
• Assist with device imaging and configuration using imaging and remote management tools.
• Provide professional technical support to end users throughout the deployment process.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
