Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA activities for connected devices and hardware-integrated applications.
• Plan and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and E2E testing.
• Perform device custody and hands-on device testing, including setup, configuration, pairing, and usage scenarios.
• Validate in-situ device behavior in real-world environments and different network conditions.
• Test environmental conditions and device behavior across different usage scenarios.
• Validate camera, display, speaker, tracker, and doorbell functionality.
• Test complete "Unboxing to Health Sync" customer journeys.
• Validate device-to-app connectivity, synchronization, notifications, and data flows.
• Perform privacy and security-related functional checks and ensure sensitive data is handled correctly.
• Validate health and health-disclaimer displays wherever applicable.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis and work closely with developers, product teams, and device engineering teams.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
• Lead defect triage and provide regular QA status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Support release readiness and ensure critical E2E scenarios are covered before production releases.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Device Testing, E2E Testing, System Testing, and Functional Testing.
• Hands-on experience testing IoT, smart devices, consumer electronics, or connected devices.
• Experience with devices such as cameras, speakers, displays, trackers, doorbells, or similar connected products.
• Strong understanding of mobile applications and device-to-app integrations.
• Experience with Android and/or iOS testing.
• Good knowledge of API, network, connectivity, and integration testing.
• Experience with defect management and QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and test execution.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
