Devops Architect/ Engineer

Role: DevOps Architect / Engineer - GitLab

Location: Paris - Hybrid (mostly remote, occasional visit to office)

**Duration: 3 - 6 months (Possible extension)

Rate: €50 to €60/hr. (D.O.E)**

DevOps Architect / Engineer is required for a prominent technology and cybersecurity organisation focused on innovation, secure technology solutions, and continuous development.

This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced DevOps professional with strong GitLab implementation, administration, and migration experience, working across development, security, and DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and optimise GitLab infrastructure
• Develop and maintain secure GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate security practices into DevOps workflows
• Manage repositories, branching strategies, source control, and security configurations
• Lead migrations of repositories, applications, and pipelines to GitLab
• Support migrations from platforms such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps

Required Skills & Experience

• French speaking
• Strong hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and administering GitLab
• Proven experience migrating repositories, applications, pipelines, or customers to GitLab
• Experience migrating from GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, Runners, repositories, branching strategies, and security features
• Experience with DevOps, automation, and cloud-based environments
