DevOps Cloud Engineer

Aventis is looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineer in Jakarta to support a client-facing environment and own cloud infrastructure, deployments, reliability, security, and production operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently troubleshoot issues and work directly with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design, maintain, and operate production cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or GCP.

·      Manage Kubernetes environments and containerized workloads.

·      Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable build, test, deployment, rollback, and release workflows.

·      Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tooling.

·      Manage environments, configuration, secrets, certificates, IAM/RBAC, and operational access.

·      Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and production observability.

·      Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, performance, and availability issues.

·      Own incident response, root-cause analysis, remediation, and preventive actions.

·      Support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and operational resilience.

·      Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization without compromising reliability.

·      Maintain infrastructure and operational documentation.

·      Coordinate technical work and incident resolution with client and internal engineering teams.

Required Experience & Skills

·      6+ years of DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or infrastructure experience.

·      Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP.

·      Practical Kubernetes experience such as EKS, GKE, or equivalent.

·      Strong Docker and containerization knowledge.

·      Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code framework.

·      Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or comparable CI/CD tooling.

·      Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Google Cloud Monitoring, or comparable observability tools.

·      Strong understanding of IAM/RBAC, secrets management, TLS/certificates, networking, and cloud security.

·      Strong Linux and production troubleshooting skills.

·      Strong understanding of reliability, deployments, rollback strategies, and production operations.
