About the role

This role involves building, managing, and maintaining infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments. You will work with virtualization technologies, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient application deployment and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage, and maintain infrastructure for development, staging, and production environments
• Setup and configure virtualization environments using Proxmox, Virtual Machine (VM), and LXC
• Manage and optimize cloud router, networking, and reverse proxy configurations using technologies such as Nginx or Traefik
• Build and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar technologies
• Orchestrate and manage containers using Docker, including implementation of High Availability, rolling updates, and reliable deployment strategies
• Setup, configure, maintain, and manage databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other databases used by the company
• Implement and manage logging and monitoring systems on servers, VMs, and containers to ensure service availability and reliability
• Identify early signs of system disruptions or potential issues and perform troubleshooting and recovery to maintain application continuity
• Optimize server and infrastructure resource usage to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Apply security best practices and network configurations aligned with company operational needs
• Collaborate with Software Engineers on deployment needs, service configuration, and application environment management
• Coordinate with Project Managers regarding release schedules and process requirements
• Support the Quality Assurance team in providing and managing testing environments
• Create and maintain systematic technical documentation of all managed infrastructure, configurations, and services
• Maintain communication and coordination through official company channels

About you

• Experience and understanding in DevOps, System Administration, Cloud Infrastructure, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Understanding of virtualization using Proxmox, VM, and LXC
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts and implementation, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Understanding of web server and reverse proxy configuration, such as Nginx or Traefik
• Knowledge of databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, system reliability, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of networking and system security fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineer, Project Manager, and Quality Assurance teams
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills
