What You’ll Do

• Lead enterprise-level administration and support, ensuring optimal performance and availability of critical systems.
• Design, develop, and implement robust automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Build and maintain advanced application dashboards and alerts using tools like Grafana, Influx, Datadog, Moog, and ThousandEyes for proactive monitoring and rapid issue detection.
• Drive continuous improvement in SDLC practices, contributing to more efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Perform hands-on enterprise systems administration, monitoring, and deployment activities across diverse environments.
• Provide expert-level system administration, troubleshooting, and tuning for both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Develop and maintain code in various programming languages, including .Net, C#, Powershell, Yaml, Java, Python, and Bash, to support automation and system enhancements.
• Contribute to the design and maintenance of high-availability architectures and large-scale distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement strategic solutions in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications: What You Bring Must-Have Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in enterprise-level administration and support.
• 6-8 years of experience in writing automation scripts and building proactive monitoring and alerting solutions using platforms such as Grafana, Influx, Datadog, Moog, and ThousandEyes.
• 6-8 years of experience practicing and improving SDLC processes.
• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise systems administration, monitoring, and deployment.
• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022) hosted via Virtual Machine.
• Solid understanding of IP networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and IP routing.
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration, troubleshooting, and tuning skills.
• Development experience in one or more of the following programming languages: .Net, C#, Powershell, Yaml, Java, Python, Bash.
• Knowledge of one or more database technologies: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• A strong customer orientation, with a proactive approach to owning, communicating, and following through on projects and issues.
• An extreme sense of ownership, driven to resolve problems effectively in a distributed environment.
• A gritty resolve to delve deep into technical issues within a complex trading ecosystem.
• A self-starter with the ability and confidence to independently resolve issues and deliver impactful results to the team.
