Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

An experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes on Microsoft Azure platform. Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve speed and reliability
• Write custom scripts (PowerShell or any other) as part of the build and deployment process
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Azure CLI.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions follow best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and application deployments.
• Implement and manage security, compliance, and governance on Azure.
• Work with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS).
• Participate in code reviews, infrastructure reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Set up and manage Azure resources: App Services, VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure Key Vault, etc.
• Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and environment configurations.
• Share daily and weekly status reports with all stakeholders for DevOps achievements and challenges

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.

Required Skills:

• Deployment pipeline expertise from GitHub to Azure services
• Strong SQL knowledge for handling financial data
• Experience with large datasets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
