DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Paklogics is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, application deployments, CI/CD automation, monitoring, environment management, reliability, and production readiness for an enterprise-scale mobile and web platform. The ideal candidate should be comfortable owning the complete delivery pipeline from development environments through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Manage development, QA, UAT/staging, and production environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code where applicable.
• Configure and manage containers and containerized deployments.
• Manage application configuration, secrets, credentials, and environment variables securely.
• Establish application monitoring, logging, alerting, metrics, and observability.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance, and infrastructure utilization.
• Troubleshoot deployment, networking, infrastructure, database-connectivity, and environment issues.
• Support backend, mobile, web, database, and QA teams with environment and deployment requirements.
• Support database deployment, migration, backup, recovery, and connectivity activities.
• Implement backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity practices.
• Support security hardening and access-management practices.
• Maintain infrastructure/deployment documentation and participate in production incident response/root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Strong CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong Docker/containerization experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting knowledge.
• Experience with monitoring/logging platforms and observability practices.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security.
• Experience supporting relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of secrets management and IAM.
• Experience managing multiple application environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident-resolution, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred

Experience supporting mobile + web + API ecosystems, Kubernetes, regulated applications, high-availability systems, disaster recovery, security/compliance environments, and production-scale AWS infrastructure is preferred.
