The Opportunity:

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team as a shared resource supporting multiple engineering teams. This hybrid role blends traditional DevOps responsibilities with some site reliability engineering practices. You'll be building and maintaining infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems.

As a resource shared across teams, you'll need to context-switch effectively, build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, and bring consistency to how infrastructure and operational practices are applied across the organization. Our next DevOps Engineer will contribute to shaping our technology culture and propel our product development teams to rapidly deliver high-value software.

Our cross-functional pods have built a world-class platform that supports all three of our lines of business and tackles new revenue-generating problems every day. You will have the opportunity to suggest ways to improve the existing architecture and technical debt as well as provide insight to optimize the Objectway Digital Client Onboarding (ODCO) platform and make it more scalable. Our Engineers are able to see the positive impact of their work not only on the company, but on the wealth management industry as a whole.

If you're eager to join an innovative team and want to demonstrate your technical acumen, initiative, ability to be a team player, and put your problem-solving skills to the test, we want to hear from you!

  • You’ll be able to provide significant input on the optimization and scalability of our current platform supporting our clients

  • As a scale-up, we are always looking for people passionate about building systems and tools, people who thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and people who get excited about opportunity to build something from the ground up and contribute to our exciting growth

What You’ll Bring to our Team:

  • 4+ years' experience in DevOps or SRE, configuration management and software deployment as well as infrastructure

  • Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring other engineers

  • A proven track record of working with preventive / predictive maintenance techniques

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPCs, firewalls, etc.)

  • You have experience writing code and have experience in the automation, configuration, and application performance management tools

  • You are a self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • A high level of individual initiative in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering reliable and consistent solutions.

It would be GREAT if you had:

  • Experience in working with databases like Mongo & Postgres or DBA Knowledge

  • Some experience with Windows server administration / environments

  • Enterprise-scale systems deployments and operations on AWS

  • Previous experience working on SaaS products in highly regulated environments
