Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release management and improve deployment efficiency.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and application environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage configuration, version control, and automation using Git and related DevOps tools.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS.
• Hands-on expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD,Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell Script, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform.
• Experience in Linux system administration and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and cloud governance practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
