DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to automate the software build process.
• Integrate automated testing and code analysis tools into CI workflows.
• Maintain and improve version control system workflows and branching strategies.
• Collaborate with other engineers to optimize processes, reduce build times, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Support and enhance tools for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the CI/CD processes.
• Contribute to the configuration and management of Continuous Delivery (CD) processes, ensuring deployments are seamless and reliable.
• May perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Build/Release Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Travis CI; experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Proficient with version control systems and branching workflows, especially Git.
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how they support CI/CD.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles, automation best practices, software development practices, and Agile workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills, eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
