DevOps Engineer

Technosoft is looking for a Passionate Candidate to join our DevOps team This is a great opportunity for professionals with upto 2 years of IT experience to build a career in DevOps with hands-on training and mentorship from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for applications across multiple technology stacks.
• Support build, release, and deployment activities across Dev, QA, and Production, including release-day coordination with Development and QA teams.
• Monitor and maintain Linux/Windows servers, VMware, and cloud environments, and respond to monitoring alerts.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Write and maintain runbooks and process documentation so tasks are repeatable by the team.

We are looking for:

• Education: Bachelor's (4-year) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Exposure of system administration or DevOps
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, ports, and basic troubleshooting
• Scripting in at least one of PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Git fundamentals: branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts
• Basic Docker: able to build and run a container
• Clear written communication: able to document what you did and why
• Willingness to take feedback, work with senior engineers, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work under guidance and meet deadlines

Nice to have:

• Hands-on exposure to a CI/CD tool (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions)
• Basic knowledge of Azure or AWS
• Basic Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools
• Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization (Hyper-V, VirtualBox)
