Your Role

• Work with AWS services day to day: IAM, networking, compute, storage, and managed data services.
• Manage Kubernetes/EKS clusters, including multi-tenancy, RBAC, workload isolation, and security hardening.
• Drive GitOps practices with FluxCD, covering multi-environment promotion and drift detection.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Author and maintain Terraform modules, Helm charts, and ACK controllers.
• Manage networking and traffic with Linkerd (service mesh) and Kong (API gateway), across east-west and north-south patterns.
• Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs across Datadog and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Integrate code quality and security scanning into the pipeline.
• Work with event-driven architectures built on Kafka, AWS MSK, and Debezium.
• Write clean, maintainable automation in Bash, Python, and Groovy.

How We Work With AI AI is part of how we build, not an afterthought, and we expect engineers to use it daily. Our primary stack is Anthropic's Claude, used through Claude Code across pipelines, code quality, operational automation, debugging, and documentation.

We care about using it well: knowing when to lean on it, how to verify its output, and how to keep quality and security high while moving faster. A solid understanding of LLMs and the wider AI ecosystem will help you make good architectural decisions as the technology matures, and we want people who are eager to push this further.

What Makes You Stand Out

• You have 2+ years in a Platform or DevOps role where you owned the outcome, not just the ticket.
• You think in platforms, not pipelines. Golden paths, self-service, and reducing developer toil are your default frame.
• You have deep AWS experience and a track record of building cloud-native systems that hold up under pressure.
• You know your way around a packet. DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, ingress, service mesh, and zero-trust networking are not abstract concepts to you.
• You use AI naturally in your workflow, from pipelines to code quality to operational automation.
• You understand LLMs and the AI ecosystem well enough to make sound architectural decisions as they evolve.
• You're honest about where you're strong and curious about the rest.
