Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage and automate CI/CD, application deployments, release management and infrastructure support for high-volume, highly available financial/trading applications.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate application deployment, configuration and environment provisioning using Ansible Playbooks.
• Manage deployment across Development, UAT, Pre-Production, Production and DR environments.
• Implement automated build, deployment, rollback and release processes.
• Troubleshoot deployment, application, infrastructure and environment-related issues.
• Work closely with Development, QA, Application Support and Infrastructure teams for seamless releases.
• Support high-availability and resilient production environments with minimum downtime.
• Maintain deployment scripts, Ansible roles, Jenkins pipelines and infrastructure documentation.
• Participate in production releases, incident management and RCA.

Key Competencies:

• Manage and automate application deployments using Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible Playbooks, and Shell Scripting to ensure seamless and reliable releases.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux/RHEL environments, MySQL databases, and Redis (Open Source/Cluster) to maintain high availability, performance, and system stability.
• Take end-to-end ownership of production environments, including deployment planning, incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution within defined SLAs.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using monitoring and observability tools, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing performance optimization measures.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, DBA, and Application teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and minimal-downtime deployments in business-critical environments, preferably within financial services, trading, or fintech domains.

Preferred Skills: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Nginx, ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, and cloud/private-cloud infrastructure will be an added advantage
