We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help us standardize and migrate a diverse ecosystem of services from standalone containers to a production-grade Kubernetes platform .

This is a highly technical, ownership-driven role for someone who enjoys working close to the infrastructure, solving problems from the terminal, and building automation that scales.

🔧 What You’ll Own

• Kubernetes Migration: Lead the migration of persistent data services and ephemeral applications from standalone containers to Kubernetes.
• Automation: Use Ansible as the primary tool for configuration management, provisioning, and infrastructure consistency.
• Platform Engineering: Build standardized Helm charts , deployment patterns, and GitOps workflows to enable developer self-service.
• Infrastructure as Code: Maintain environment state and automate infrastructure provisioning. Terraform experience is a plus.
• Observability: Own and improve the monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational visibility stack.
• Migration Enablement: Work closely with service owners to assess workloads, define migration strategies, and guide them through production cutovers.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux , preferably in physical or virtualized on-premises environments.
• Expert-level Linux CLI and troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced understanding of Kubernetes primitives , including networking, storage, workloads, scheduling, and lifecycle management.
• Strong Ansible experience and an automation-first mindset.
• Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment standards.
• Understanding of GitOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms.
• Practical experience with container runtimes and containerized applications.
• Terraform knowledge is a strong plus.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure and OS-level issues.

Hands-on engineering is a priority. This is not a dashboard-only DevOps role — you’ll be working directly with Linux, Kubernetes, automation, networking, storage, and production systems.
