Devops Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Production Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Cosmos DB to support production applications, resolve incidents, and ensure application stability and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure service availability.
• Support Java and Spring Boot applications, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot AKS pod failures, deployments, connectivity, and application configuration issues.
• Investigate Cosmos DB connectivity, query performance, and throttling issues.
• Manage production incidents, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, production releases, deployment validation, and rollback activities.
• Use monitoring and logging tools to identify issues and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
• Follow ITIL processes, change management, and production support procedures.
• Be flexible to work in APAC/EMEA-aligned shifts as required.

Mandatory Skills

• Java and Spring Boot application troubleshooting.
• RESTful APIs and integration troubleshooting.
• Azure Cosmos DB support.
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes troubleshooting.
• Production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• ITIL fundamentals and DevOps/CI/CD knowledge.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Microsoft Azure services, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.
• ServiceNow, Jira, Linux/Unix, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Apache Kafka, SQL Server, Snowflake, and disaster recovery concepts. Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Java application support, production operations, or DevOps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams.
