DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure Automation & Infrastructure as Code | Haifa area

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an integration engineering team working on complex, on-premises projects for defense customers. The role combines infrastructure automation, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and DevOps practices in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions for IT infrastructure, networking, systems, and information security.
• Configure and troubleshoot Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, with a deep understanding of cluster architecture, deployment, load balancing, high availability, and recovery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD processes using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Integrate DevOps practices into complex system integration projects and provide Level 4 technical support.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and work with engineering teams across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in DevOps, IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or automation.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, VMware virtualization, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Mandatory OOP programming knowledge; PowerShell or Python is an advantage.
• Practical understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift architecture and underlying mechanisms, beyond basic usage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, technical English, and the ability to learn new technologies.

Advantages

• Experience with Splunk, RPA, or locally deployed AI solutions.
