Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimize production infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
• Manage Linux servers, networking, load balancers, SSL certificates, DNS, and production environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and Docker Compose.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Design highly available and scalable infrastructure using Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, and private networking.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL, Redis, and related infrastructure services.
• Implement monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar technologies.
• Improve security through IAM, secrets management, network isolation, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
• Implement reliable backup, disaster recovery, and incident-response procedures.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs without compromising system performance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, performance bottlenecks, deployment failures, and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application reliability.
• Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and deployment workflows.
• Support load testing, capacity planning, and scaling for high-traffic platforms.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on production experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, ALB, Auto Scaling, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch).
• Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Proven experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience configuring Nginx and application servers.
• Experience operating PostgreSQL and Redis in production.
• Experience building monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash or Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and secrets management.
• Experience with production troubleshooting, incident management, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to independently lead infrastructure initiatives and make technical decisions.

• Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, or container orchestration experience.
• Multi-cloud experience with GCP, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with Celery workers and asynchronous processing architectures.
• Experience deploying Django, React, and Next.js applications.
• Experience with high-traffic EdTech, SaaS, or media-streaming platforms.
• Experience managing CDNs, video streaming, and HLS delivery.
• Experience with AWS WAF, Cloudflare, or Bunny CDN.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional.
