Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Terraform, serverless technologies, Git, and CI/CD pipeline implementation, along with a good understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures.

Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments, resilience testing, dashboard creation, and application/infrastructure monitoring will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release management.

• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.

• Design, deploy, and manage serverless applications and cloud-native solutions.

• Implement and maintain automated deployment workflows across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and version control practices.

• Work with cloud services to provision, configure, secure, and optimize infrastructure.

• Set up and maintain dashboards, monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure application and infrastructure health.

• Identify and troubleshoot deployment failures, infrastructure issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.

• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve release efficiency and system reliability.

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, secrets management, and access controls.

• Support infrastructure scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.

• Contribute to automation initiatives that improve deployment speed, operational efficiency, and system stability.

• Support cloud-native application deployments and help improve the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of distributed systems.

  Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.

• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

• Good understanding of serverless architecture and related services, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.

• Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows, including branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.

• Good understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure components, including networking, IAM, compute, storage, and security.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboard tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or equivalent.

• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.

• Understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, and modern application deployment practices.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of DevOps principles, automation, release management, and infrastructure security.

  Preferred Skills / Added Advantages

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Experience in resilience testing, chaos engineering, fault injection, or failure recovery testing.

• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity.

• Experience building operational dashboards and defining service health metrics, Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

• Exposure to resilience-testing and chaos-engineering tools such as Chaos Monkey, LitmusChaos, Gremlin, or similar solutions, along with cloud-native technologies and architectures.

• Experience with cloud-native services, microservices architecture, containerization using Docker, and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with serverless deployment frameworks, API integrations, and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of security scanning, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps practices.

• Experience in performance monitoring, capacity planning, and cloud cost optimization.

• Understanding of infrastructure reliability, fault tolerance, auto-scaling, and automated recovery mechanisms.
