DevOps Engineer

Project: Government ERP programme for a large state-level temple administration in Kerala

Location: AI-Lab, Thiruvananthapuram (on-site only)

Experience: 8+ years (relevant, after qualification)

Salary (CTC): 11 –12.5 LPA

Joining: Immediate (within 7 days of selection)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Role

Designs, builds and operates the platform and production environments on AWS / EKS: IaC, CI/CD, GitOps, observability, security and DR; owns release engineering and SRE practices.

Must-have skills

· AWS: multi-account landing zone, VPC, EKS, ALB / NLB, RDS PostgreSQL (Multi-AZ, PITR), MSK, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, S3 / CloudFront, KMS, WAF, cost management

· Kubernetes: cluster lifecycle, Helm, ingress, HPA / VPA, network policies, RBAC, pod security

· Docker: multi-stage / distroless builds, SBOM, image signing (cosign); Terraform (modules, remote state)

· CI/CD and GitOps: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI for Java, Python and Node; blue-green / canary; DB migration automation

· Observability: Prometheus / Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Fluent Bit → OpenSearch; alerting, runbooks, SLO / SLI

· DevSecOps: SonarQube, OWASP Dependency-Check, DAST, CIS benchmarks, secrets and certificate automation, CERT-In evidence

· AI / ML workloads: GPU node groups, model serving (vLLM / SageMaker), Bedrock access controls

· Backup / DR design and drills; incident and post-incident review; Linux, networking, Bash and Python

Good to have

Hybrid deployment to State Data Centre / MeitY cloud; Kafka operations tuning; FinOps; service mesh; Keycloak operations.

Interview – In person only

· Date: Monday, 26 October 2026, 10:00 AM

· Process: offline test, technical interview and walkthrough of your own work – same day. Design exercise – production EKS topology + CI/CD + observability; live scripting / Terraform / Helm test; walkthrough of pipelines or IaC you built.

· Bring your own laptop (16 GB RAM, SSD, with tools for your track installed)

· Bring originals: photo ID, education certificates, appointment and relieving letters, EPFO service history

Eligibility

· Immediate joiner with no pending notice period

· Willing to work on-site in Thiruvananthapuram

· Not proposed for this project through any other agency

· Daily, verified use of AI tools in your work
