DevOps Engineer - Contract

Title: DevOps Engineer

Pay: $45 - $55 p/hr W2

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the management and enhancement of our Azure cloud environment. This role involves deploying CI/CD pipelines, performing risk and security assessments, and potentially re-architecting Azure resources to support ongoing growth. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing global governance practices and ensuring efficient cloud operations tailored to a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of software engineering experience with a focus on .NET/C# and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline deployment
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and development, with the ability to re-architect Azure resources as needed
• Familiarity with security assessment and risk analysis in cloud environments
• Experience with Azure DevOps, with potential familiarity with GitHub Actions going forward

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the Azure environment, including managing 12 subscriptions and 20 applications
• Deploy and support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Conduct risk and security assessments of current Azure configurations
• Re-architect Azure resources to support scaling and growth initiatives
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance cloud deployment processes and automation
• Support global governance, ensuring architectural compliance and best practices
