DevOps Engineer (Java)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience, having strong hands-on expertise in Java application environments, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, automation, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java applications.
• Manage build, deployment, release, and environment automation.
• Work closely with Java developers to streamline application delivery.
• Manage and troubleshoot applications across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and maintain Docker containers and deploy applications on Kubernetes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment services.
• Implement DevOps best practices for security, scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Maintain documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

DevOps / CI-CD

• 7+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.
• Strong experience with Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
• Experience with Maven / Gradle and Java application builds.
• Experience automating deployments across multiple environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices.

Java

• Good understanding of Java application architecture and deployment.
• Experience deploying and supporting Spring Boot / Java applications.
• Knowledge of JVM, application logs, performance troubleshooting, and configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot Java application deployment and runtime issues.
