- Make infrastructure decisions that balance reliability, security, delivery speed, and cost.
Required experience and skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or production infrastructure; growth-stage startup experience is preferred.

- Experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or comparable observability tools.
- Operational experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including performance, metrics, capacity, backup, restoration, and health monitoring.
- Operational depth in at least two of Java/Spring Boot, Python, Go, and Node.js; coding hands-on strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tooling, including build and deployment pipelines, testing hooks, artifact management, and code-quality or audit checks.
- Practical application and infrastructure security knowledge covering IAM, secrets, patching, hardening, and audit remediation.
- Experience with on-call operations, runbooks, incident response, postmortems, and corrective-action tracking.
- Hands-on use of Claude, OpenAI, or similar tools for operational tooling, automated detection, large-scale issue analysis, and human-reviewed remediation.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable Infrastructure as Code tooling.
Strong pluses include experience with cost review/optimization, senior stakeholders communication and platform engineering contributions in Python/Go. The ideal candidate demonstrates high standards, root-cause thinking, ownership during incidents, continuous learning, and a strong bias for automation.
