Your Task

This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will take responsibility for Identity & Access Management (IAM), focusing on the ongoing development and management of IAM concepts and systems. You will deploy, manage, and customize Keycloak in an Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) environment using modern CI/CD tools. You will work in an international, self-organized team within an agile organization while striving for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for Identity & Access Management (IAM), focusing on the ongoing development and management of IAM concepts and systems
• Deploy, manage, and customize Keycloak in an Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) environment using modern CI/CD tools
• Support and optimize the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure
• Develop and implement infrastructure services in a Scrum team applying Infrastructure as Code principles
• Analyze complex requirements and create seamless solution concepts for the global hybrid infrastructure supporting our clients
• Work in cross-functional teams responsible for full operational ownership of their services
• Work in an international, self-organized team within an agile organization while striving for personal and professional growth

Your Profile

We are looking for a qualified DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Identity & Access Management, Keycloak deployment in Kubernetes environments, and Infrastructure as Code principles, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in international agile teams.

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT, or relevant work experience
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Solid knowledge and experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) processes, policies, and technologies
• Proven expertise in deploying, managing, and customizing Keycloak in Kubernetes environments (preferably EKS)
• Experience utilizing CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
• Familiarity with authorization and authentication protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or scripting skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Hands-on expertise in container deployment tools
• Experience with monitoring solutions (e.g., OpenSearch, Grafana)
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Experience with hypervisor platforms, especially AWS
• Experience with Windows Active Directory environments
• PowerShell experience
• Experience working in SAFe environment
• German language knowledge
