DevOps Engineer (NodeJS Background Preferred)

• Understand both Node.js (backend) and Backbone.js (frontend) to analyze the full application workflow and support accurate and efficient version upgrades - Collaborate with frontend developers working with Backbone.js to understand full application flow and enable smooth integration. - Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment workflows using Azure DevOps (or AWS with willingness to learn Azure). - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the full stack (infrastructure to application layer). - Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and reliability of deployments. - Participate in the automation of deployment processes, log management, and alerting systems. - Support and contribute to application version upgrade initiatives by understanding the full technical flow.

• Package: At least 13 months/ year. Must-have: - Have experience developing backend services using Node.js. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, or AWS with willingness to cross-train into Azure. - Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD concepts. - Familiarity with Backbone.js or other frontend frameworks is a plus to help understand end-to-end flow. - Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and logging tools (e.g., ELK, Fluentd). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Nice-to-have: - Understanding of YAML pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and system monitoring tools. - Knowledge of scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or similar. - Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400) are a plus.
