Devops Engineer Principal

For our client, we are seeking a Devops Engineer Principal to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will help shape and operate cloud-native platform capabilities that support analytics and AI-driven workloads across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD to improve scalability, security, and reliability. You will also partner with technical teams to advance data pipeline automation, platform performance, and operational excellence in a remote environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $119,000 – $161,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using CI/CD pipelines
• Build and support Kubernetes platforms with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability
• Develop and automate ETL workflows and data pipelines for analytics and AI workloads
• Implement and support MLOps, AIOps, and FinOps capabilities
• Troubleshoot Linux-based systems and optimize platform performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Amazon EKS, Linux, and GitLab CI/CD
• Strong experience with SQL, ETL automation, and building scalable data pipelines
• Experience implementing or supporting AI, MLOps, or AIOps platforms
• Strong scripting and automation skills, focusing on cloud-native technologies
