Project Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, with strong expertise in the Azure ecosystem. The mission is centered on rolling out SonarQube Advanced Security across application teams, supporting them through configuration, vulnerability remediation, and ongoing security reporting.

Goals and deliverables

Main Responsibilities & Key Activities

• Build templates for the configuration of SonarQube Advanced Security

• Contact application owners and teach them how to incorporate SonarQube into their pipelines

• Verify correct implementation across teams

• Resolve configuration-related questions from teams

• Access SonarQube and generate reports on detected security vulnerabilities

• Investigate and assess vulnerabilities and their severity

• Inform teams about identified issues

• Support teams in identifying false positives

• Teach teams how to investigate and apply fixes for remediation

• Follow up with teams to ensure remediation progress

• Generate progress reports

Experience Required

Mandatory Experience

• 5+ years in software engineering

• 5+ years in Azure DevOps

• 5+ years in Azure (App Insights, Alerts, Logic Apps)

• 5+ years in OpenShift

• 5+ years in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or TypeScript)

• 5+ years in DevSecOps practices (CI/CD strategies, branching strategies)

• 5+ years in SAST

• 5+ years in IaC

• Proven track record managing large-scale Azure environments

• Experience with automation and scripting in enterprise settings

Preferred Experience

• Experience with other automation tools or frameworks

• Development background (.NET, Python, React, or Java)

• Experience in system administration (Windows, Linux)

• Experience automating processes

• Power BI

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
