DevOps Instructor

Location: LAHORE Job Type: Full Time, Onsite About Edversity Edversity, part of the Rapidev Group of Companies, delivers practical, industry-focused IT training. We are running physical classes as part of an IT skills development program to prepare young people for jobs and freelancing in technology.

About the role We are hiring a DevOps Instructor to teach trainees how modern software is built, shipped and run on the cloud. You will lead daily classroom and lab sessions and take beginners from Linux basics to deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines.

Who you will teach Most trainees will be fresh graduates, final-year students, people with experience in the industry and people starting out in the industry. Many will have little or no practical experience, so you will start from the basics, explain concepts in simple English and Urdu, and build their confidence step by step until they can deliver real projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily lectures and hands-on labs according to the approved curriculum
• Break complex topics into simple steps for trainees with no prior DevOps exposure
• Prepare lesson plans, slides, lab guides, assignments and quizzes
• Set up and maintain lab machines, cloud sandbox accounts and practice repositories
• Supervise trainee projects and the final capstone
• Track attendance, assess progress and submit reports to the program team
• Run extra support sessions for trainees who fall behind
• Guide trainees on certifications, CVs and job applications
• Support assessments, audits and program reviews

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud or system administration
• Hands-on skills in Linux, Bash, Git, Docker, Kubernetes and at least one CI/CD tool
• Working experience on AWS or Azure, with Terraform or Ansible
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in English and Urdu
• Patience and genuine interest in teaching beginners

Preferred

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate, CKA or Azure Administrator certification
• Previous teaching, training or mentoring experience
