The software handles massive transaction volumes daily, meaning the platform absolutely cannot fail. We are on the hunt for a DevOps Lead who thrives on setting high-level technical direction but still genuinely loves rolling up their sleeves to write clean code alongside their team.

You will head a sharp DevOps squad, automate away manual headaches, and lead the wider tech knowledge-sharing sessions. You will be the ultimate connector bringing the developers, security specialists, and product minds together to keep the ecosystem secure, transparent, and completely scalable.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Grow the Crew: Mentor, support, and direct a tight-knit team of engineers, keeping their workloads balanced and their skills sharp.
• Map the Tech Horizon: Partner with architects to steer where the container, cloud, and microservices tech goes next.
• Destroy Manual Work: Build sleek, automated deployment pipelines and write robust Infrastructure as Code to keep things moving fast.
• Keep Guard: Keep a close eye on system health, map out capacity, squash vulnerabilities, and bake security into everything you build.

Who You Are:

• A True Leader: You have real people-management experience and naturally love teaching and uplifting others.
• An AWS Aficionado: You know your way inside and out of Amazon’s ecosystem (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, and beyond).
• An Automation Addict: You live and breathe tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to spin up infrastructure safely.
• Systems Savvy: You boast solid Linux skills, robust cloud networking know-how, and sharp scripting chops (think Python, Bash, or Groovy).
• Visibility-Focused: You know how to implement great dashboards and alerting to track system health.
• Great to Be Around: great problem-solving skills and a sense of humour to match.
