DevOps Software Engineer

We’re hiring a Software Engineer to build secure, reliable software supporting the U.S. Air Force and helping warfighters make faster, mission critical decisions.

You’ll work hands on with Python, Flask, REST APIs, Docker, CI/CD, cloud technologies, and DevSecOps while owning features from development through deployment.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain Python and Flask based REST APIs
• Develop secure backend services and automated tests
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Containerize applications with Docker
• Work with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code
• Implement security scanning, authentication, and secrets management
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and production operations
• Collaborate with software, security, and operations teams in an Agile environment

What We’re Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of software engineering experience
• Strong Python and Flask experience
• Experience building REST APIs
• Hands on experience with Git, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD
• Experience with automated testing and databases
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of secure software development and DevSecOps

Preferred Qualifications: Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, OAuth2/OIDC, SAST/DAST/SCA, or government/defense experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
