Devops / SRE - UNIQAI Systems

Join UNIQAI, a startup developing AI-based planning and decision-support solutions for the defense domain. We are looking for a hands-on DevOps / SRE to drive the availability, resilience, and operational scalability of our mission-critical platforms and private cloud environments.

Location:

 Ramat Gan (Near BSR), Full time on-site.

What You’ll Do:

• System Reliability & Observability:

  Own end-to-end system health and availability, define SLIs/SLOs, design alerting rules, and manage comprehensive observability across containerized, VM-based air-gapped environments.

• Automation & Toil Reduction:

  Eliminate manual operational tasks by developing robust CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and self-healing deployment pipelines.

• Incident Management & Performance:

  Lead incident response with a calm, solution-oriented approach. Partner directly with development teams to solve complex issues, conduct blameless post-mortems, and build self-recovery mechanisms for high-concurrency workloads.

Must-Haves:

• DevOps / SRE Expertise:

  Proven hands-on track record as a DevOps or SRE Specialist

• Linux & Infrastructure:

  Solid Linux CLI foundation, system administration skills, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Core Technology Stack:

  Extensive, direct or equivalent experience with:

Containers & Orchestration:

Docker, OpenShift, and Virtual Machines (VMs), HELM.

Observability & Logging:

Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, Logstash, Kibana.

Data Integration: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL.

Pipelines & CICD:

Artifactory (Quay, JFrog), GitLab pipelines, Azure, 

Software & Scripting Languages:

Bash, Python, and Java.

• Service Mindset & Demeanor:

  Strong service-oriented tolerance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive, collaborative attitude when supporting engineering teams under pressure.

• Background:

  Relevant practical experience, IDF technical unit alumni, or technical degree.

• Mandatory:

  Willingness to undergo security clearance.
