Role Summary:
Drive vulnerability remediation and secure cloud/container environments. Enable development teams through scalable DevSecOps practices and automation. Optimize security tooling and incident support across engineering teams.

What Youll Do:

• Analyze, prioritize, and drive remediation of software vulnerabilities across containers, operating systems, dependencies, and infrastructure
• Secure Docker/Kubernetes workloads, base images, registries, and runtimes
• Support secure deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments
• Adopt and optimize SAST tool usage and embed security in CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain security gates and controls within GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Collaborate with engineering teams on secure coding, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices
• Assist in investigating security findings, container vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and incidents
• Automate remediation, debugging, and security processes, leveraging AI-assisted tools where appropriate

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• Experience translating vulnerability findings into actionable remediation
• Ability to balance security risk with business needs
• Advanced skills in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, image scanning, runtime security, and image signing
• Advanced experience with GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD
• Intermediate to advanced Linux administration, hardening, package management, and troubleshooting
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Azure and GCP
• Intermediate proficiency in Python, Bash/Shell scripting, and Go
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex security, cloud, and DevOps concepts

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):

• Experience with enterprise vulnerability management programs
• Experience adopting and optimizing AI-assisted debugging and remediation tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on DevSecOps or Application Security experience
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Linux-based environments
