DEWA Electrical Engineer

*Position: DEWA Electrical Engineer*

We are looking for an experienced *Electrical Engineer with strong knowledge of DEWA requirements and regulations* to join our contracting team in Dubai.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Prepare and submit electrical drawings and documents for *DEWA approval*.

* Handle DEWA applications, inspections, approvals, and related coordination.

* Prepare *electrical load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLD), DB schedules, and electrical calculations*.

* Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with *DEWA regulations and UAE standards*.

* Coordinate with consultants, clients, DEWA, building management, and site teams.

* Supervise electrical installation works at site.

* Conduct site inspections and ensure works are completed according to approved drawings.

* Handle electrical testing, inspection requests, and project completion requirements.

* Prepare material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.

* Coordinate electrical works with other MEP services.

*Requirements:*

* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

* Minimum *2–5 years UAE experience* in electrical/MEP contracting.

* Strong experience with *DEWA submissions and approvals*.

* Good knowledge of DEWA electrical regulations.

* Experience in fit-out/commercial projects is preferred.

* Proficiency in *AutoCAD and MS Office*.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Candidates with *DEWA-approved/competency certification*, where applicable, will be preferred.
