ABBA Engineering is growing our FIFO Dewatering & Projects Team and is seeking an experienced, hands-on Dewatering Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technician who enjoys working across dewatering systems, pump maintenance, pipeline installation, poly welding and site services. You will work as part of a skilled team delivering critical infrastructure solutions across Western Australia's mining industry, while continuing to develop your technical skills and career.

About the Role

As a Dewatering Technician, you will support the installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of dewatering systems across mining sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining pumps and dewatering systems
• Installing and maintaining HDPE, PVC and UPVC pipelines
• Assisting with poly welding and pipeline installation
• Completing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Troubleshooting pumps, equipment and site issues
• Operating mobile plant including excavators, telehandlers and loaders
• Supporting safe and efficient site operations
• Working collaboratively with the dewatering and projects team

About You

We are looking for a practical, safety-focused technician who enjoys working in the field and has experience in mining, dewatering, mechanical maintenance or related industries.

Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:

• Dewatering operations
• Pump installation, maintenance and fault finding
• HDPE/poly welding
• Pipeline installation
• Mechanical fitting or mining maintenance
• Civil construction or earthworks

You will have:

• Minimum 2 years' relevant industry experience
• Experience operating mobile plant
• Telehandler, Excavator and Skid Steer tickets
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (MR preferred)
• White Card
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to work effectively in a FIFO team environment
