DFM Pre-Sales Engineer

CAD / DFMPro Pre-Sales Engineer - 0–5 Years

Education: BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Role Summary

We are looking for an entry-level to mid-level CAD/DFM Pre-Sales Engineer to support customer engagements, product demonstrations, technical evaluations, and proof-of-concepts for CAD and Design for Manufacturing solutions.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
• 0–5 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, CAD, application engineering, or technical sales
• Hands-on experience with at least one 3D CAD tool:
  • Creo
  • SOLIDWORKS
  • Siemens NX
  • CATIA
  • Autodesk Inventor
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
• Knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T
• Basic understanding of:
  • Machining
  • Sheet metal
  • Injection molding
  • Die casting
  • Welding
  • Assembly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable presenting technical concepts to customers and internal teams

Preferred

• Experience with DFMPro or other DFM/DFX software
• CAD/PLM/PDM experience
• Internship or project experience involving new product development (NPD)
• Experience conducting CAD design reviews or manufacturability analysis
• Exposure to CAD automation, engineering software, or SaaS products
• Customer-facing, application engineering, technical support, or pre-sales experience
