DGM/General Manager Mechanical

We are looking for a Mechanical Lead to join our Energy team in Gurgaon. You will shape the design of combined cycle power plants, working on first-of-their-kind projects that push the boundaries of engineering excellence. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering cleaner, more efficient energy solutions.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership in the basic and detailed design of main plant components, including Gas Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and Steam Turbines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project reports to assess viability and guide decision-making on combined cycle power plant projects.
• Prepare essential design documentation such as Design Criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, system descriptions, sizing calculations, RFPs, and tender evaluations.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors to ensure components meet required international standards and project specifications.
• Apply international standards including ASME, HEI, ASME-TDP, API, and HIS across all design activities.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 18+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a strong track record in combined cycle power plant design.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems and pumps used in combined cycle applications.
• Proven expertise in preparing design documentation, feasibility studies, and vendor evaluations.
• Strong familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, HEI, API, and ASME-TDP.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing multiple projects and guiding engineering teams.
