DGPS Operator

PETAGMA PVT. LTD. is hiring a DGPS Operator for our project team in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

We are looking for a candidate with 0–2 years of experience in DGPS/GNSS or Civil Surveying who can independently operate DGPS equipment, conduct accurate field surveys, process survey data, and maintain proper survey records.

Responsibilities

• Operate DGPS/GNSS surveying equipment at project sites.
• Conduct DGPS and civil surveys according to project requirements.
• Collect accurate coordinate, elevation, alignment, and chainage data.
• Establish and verify control points and benchmarks.
• Carry out level, alignment, coordinate, and chainage surveys.
• Download and process DGPS survey data.
• Check survey data for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare coordinate lists, field notes, survey reports, and daily records.
• Assist with survey drawings and layouts.
• Read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Surveyors, and Project Teams.
• Maintain DGPS equipment and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Follow site safety, quality, and surveying procedures.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in DGPS/GNSS or Civil Surveying.
• Hands-on experience operating DGPS equipment.
• Knowledge of coordinates, levels, benchmarks, and survey calculations.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of survey data processing.
• Ability to read civil engineering drawings and site layouts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be technically capable, responsible, punctual, and comfortable working in field conditions. The candidate should be able to maintain accurate survey records and coordinate effectively with the site/project team.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
