Diamond Assorter

Job Responsibilities

• Sort and assort diamonds according to size, shape, color, clarity, and quality.
• Match diamonds accurately as per production or customer requirements.
• Check diamonds for quality, cut, polish, symmetry, and visible defects.
• Maintain consistency in assortments and ensure minimum quality variation.
• Handle diamonds carefully to prevent loss, damage, or mixing of lots.
• Segregate diamonds into appropriate lots and maintain proper identification.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, and sales/merchandising teams when required.
• Maintain records of diamond lots, quantities, and assortment details.
• Follow company procedures for diamond security, handling, and inventory control.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of diamond grading and assortment.
• Strong attention to detail and color/clarity identification.
• Ability to distinguish differences in size, shape, color, and quality.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
