Due to the award of a mine development contract at Ahafo for the Subika Underground Mine and subject to Newmont's Board final approval, AUMS is seeking expressions of interest for up-coming work in Ghana from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following role : Diamond Drill Supervisors

Qualification Required & Experience Require a thorough understanding and demonstrated competency in all aspects of underground diamond drilling inclusive of:

• Ore body definition and grade control
• Deep hole and directional drilling
• Accurate recording and timely reporting of drilling information
• Ensuring that training is carried out emphasizing productivity and the technical aspects of the role while maintaining safety as the imperative.
• Break down & setup of drill rigs, packing & presentation of core for delivery to client.
• Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the specified procedures and work practices
• Proven experience operating LM75, LM90 and mobile carrier mounted diamond drill rigs in an underground operation
• Demonstrated experience training personnel to a high standard.
