Diamond Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Diamond Executive to manage diamond, CZ, and coloured stone inventory at our jewellery manufacturing unit. The role involves overseeing diamond stock management, bagging, gauging, assorting, ERP entries, purchase and sale coordination, stone consumption tracking, and inventory valuation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of diamond assortments, hands-on experience with GATI Jewellery ERP, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with production, purchase, and costing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diamond & Stone Inventory Management

· Manage and maintain diamond, CZ, and coloured stone inventory, including loose stones and parcels.

· Monitor stock receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.

· Record and verify all inventory transactions in GATI Jewellery ERP.

· Manage diamond and stone purchase, sale, stock requirements, and replenishment.

· Ensure proper stock control and minimize shortages, wastage, and discrepancies.

2. Stone Handling & Assorting

· Supervise and perform diamond and coloured stone bagging, gauging, and assorting.

· Verify diamond quality, MM sizes, sieve sizes, and assortment accuracy before issuance.

· Ensure proper completion, repair, repacking, and tracking of diamond bags.

· Maintain accurate records of stone segregation and allocation.

3. Production Coordination

· Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of stones as per order requirements.

· Monitor stone consumption against production orders and reconcile actual consumption with system records.

· Investigate stock differences, shortages, and excess consumption.

· Ensure proper documentation of stone issuance and returns.

4. Team & Process Management

· Manage day-to-day diamond inventory operations and ensure adherence to company procedures.

· Coordinate with team members to maintain stock accuracy and operational efficiency.

· Ensure proper handling, storage, security, and accountability of diamonds and other stones.

· Guide team members on inventory procedures and accurate ERP entries.

5. Costing, Valuation & Reporting

· Coordinate with the costing team for diamond pricing, valuation, and stock reporting.

· Prepare and review Excel reports for stock statements, stock movement, shortages, and stone consumption.

· Track diamond bag completion and pending requirements.

· Analyse inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

· Maintain accurate documentation for stock verification and audits.

· Requirements:

· Graduate, preferably B. Com, or Diploma in Gemology.

· 2–5 years of relevant experience in diamond inventory management within a jewellery manufacturing unit.

· Hands-on experience with GATI Jewellery ERP, preferably its diamond, CZ, and coloured stone modules.

· Strong knowledge of diamond assortments, quality, MM sizes, and sieve sizes.

· Practical experience in diamond bagging, gauging, assorting, and stone segregation.

· Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and reporting dashboards.

· Understanding of diamond purchasing, sales, stock valuation, and requirement planning.

· Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, and inventory management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
