Diamond Tooling Technician

About the Role

As a Diamond Tooling Technician, you will play a vital role in our precision manufacturing environment by supporting the assembly and finishing of high-performance cutting blades. You will utilize your technical aptitude to manage equipment and ensure that every product meets our rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute radius grinding and OD grinding processes to ensure precise blade dimensions.
• Prepare metal cores through efficient washing, sandblasting, and polishing techniques to ensure optimal surface quality.
• Support the production line by managing fixture loading for manual laser operations.
• Facilitate the seamless movement of materials and components between various manufacturing workstations.
• Perform critical finishing tasks including sharpening, masking, and marking blades for final distribution.
• Manage the paint line workflow by hanging and removing components to maintain production throughput.
• Maintain a safe and compliant workspace by strictly adhering to all environmental and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to verify product integrity and document production data accurately.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proficiency in basic mathematics and the metric system.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing or walking for extended periods.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to select and organize appropriate tooling for diverse manufacturing tasks.

Preferred Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial assembly setting.
• Demonstrated ability to perform visual quality inspections and maintain detailed production records.
