Role Description The Dibujante de Planos Constructivos is a full-time, on-site role based in Guatemala City, Guatemala. This role is responsible for preparing detailed construction drawings and plans, including architectural, structural, and installation layouts, in accordance with project specifications and local regulations. The Dibujante will interpret technical information from engineers and architects, update and modify plans as needed, and ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and delivered on time. Daily tasks include collaborating with project managers and technical teams, reviewing designs for feasibility, coordinating revisions, and supporting the preparation of permits and construction documentation. The role also involves maintaining drawing standards, following internal quality processes, and contributing to efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency in drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD tools) and ability to produce precise construction plans.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes, with experience interpreting architectural and structural designs.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Technical degree or certification in drafting, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field; prior experience in construction drawing or design is highly desirable.
• Ability to work on-site in Guatemala City and commit to a full-time schedule; basic proficiency in relevant office software for documentation and reporting.
