Job Summary
We are looking for a die maker assistant / machinist with some of the following qualifications

• Machinist experience of 2 years mandatory (High School Tech Center Experience Applicable)
• Set up and operate manual machines: lathe, drill press, conventional milling machine (Bridgeport), surface grinder, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals and specifications.
• Make new details from prints or duplicates from existing details.
• Determine necessary steps to inspect, repair and test the dies.
• Die disassembly and assembly.
• Suggest production process improvements.
• General knowledge of Tool & Die

Tool and Die Maker Apprenticeship Program. ATD offers this program to our exceling candidates. Courses are taken at GRCC. Ideal candidate for the program must have high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of machining experience, positive attitude, general interest in tool & die and a successful probation period at ATD.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
