About The Role The SR Pack Die Cut Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining printing machinery to produce high-quality corrugated packaging products. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that printed materials are accurately aligned to specifications, meeting both quality standards and production deadlines. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring production runs, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Collaboration with quality control and production teams is essential to continuously improve processes and ensure customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the role contributes directly to the efficiency and success of the packaging production line by delivering consistent, defect-free products on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a Die Cutter Press in a corrugate converting facility.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs.
• Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 1st shift including overtime as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Die Cutter Press according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production run, making adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal operation and prevent breakdowns.
• Inspect finished products for defects such as misprints, out of specification dimensions, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality control personnel to address production challenges and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or delays promptly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
