Die Designer

• Design forging dies, punches, inserts and related tooling using AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo or equivalent software.
• Develop die designs based on component drawings, forging process and material requirements.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models and detailed tool drawings for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Die Shop, Production, Quality and Tool Room for die development and modifications.
• Incorporate die design changes based on production trials, tool wear and quality issues.
• Support die trial, troubleshooting and correction activities.
• Maintain die drawings, revision records and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs meet required dimensions, tolerances and forging process requirements.
• Optimize die design for improved tool life, productivity and reduced rejection.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of forging die design and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of forging components, die materials, allowances, parting lines and machining requirements.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Ability to read engineering and component drawings.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good coordination with production and tool-room teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
