Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time Vacancy

Rate of Pay: $26.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

· Assemble / set-up extrusion tooling dies according to production requests and stage them on to the staging rack at the press

· Push out or remove dies from holder adapters using hydraulic press machine

· Transfer tooling dies into holding baskets as required to be dipped in caustic soda solution for deep cleaning

· Disassemble extrusion tooling dies for detailed cleaning

· Clean, Polish and inspect extrusion tooling dies using basic pneumatic tools and sand blasting machine

· Store back dies in shelf rack system or pull out dies from shelf rack system accordingly

· House Keeping duties in the die shop

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Forklift and crane experience considered an asset.

· Previous manufacturing, production, tooling, die shop, machine shop, or industrial experience preferred.

· Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and safe work procedures.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
