Role Description The Die Maker role at INDO TOOLINGS PRIVATE LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position located in Mhow. The Die Maker is responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing workpieces, and manufacturing dies using tools such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other equipment. Daily tasks include machining, fitting, and assembling die components, performing measurements and inspections, and adjusting tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and production teams, performing routine maintenance on tools and machines, and following safety and quality guidelines to ensure consistent, defect-free output.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in die making, toolroom operations, and use of conventional machines (milling, turning, grinding).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in precision measurement using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Experience in fitting, assembly, finishing, and troubleshooting of dies and related tooling.
• Knowledge of basic machining processes, materials used in tooling, and shop safety practices.
• Relevant technical qualification, such as ITI, diploma, or equivalent in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a toolroom or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively on the shop floor, follow instructions, and adapt to production priorities.
